Jack's film career had its ups and downs, and plenty of variety!
Jack's first experience of a film set was in 1964, when he worked as a stand-in (for camera rehearsals) on the film The Little Ones. He did not appear in that film, but can be spotted, uncredited, in Ken Loach's Poor Cow (1967) as one of a group of boys playing football.
Apart from his best-known big-screen appearance in Oliver! in 1968, Jack's movies included a serial for the Children's Film Foundation, a gritty social drama, and a Hollywood blockbuster, and you'll find details of them all below..
This page will eventually be expanded to cover all Jack's films in detail.
